Why are they so expensive?
I get that question a lot, and it's a fair question. Some of my Rosaries are $550-$600...but there are also $50 Rosaries in the shop, and I spend the same effort on them as with the more expensive ones. The wire wrap Rosaries are time consuming, labor intensive Rosaries; and I use more expensive components--they are heirloom quality, and I put the best components I can find to use there. But I also make a simple, wire wrapped brown and Bronze Rosary that is very popular with third order Franciscans and seminarians--under $100 for a Rosary that will happily reside in a pocket and is sturdy enough for heavy use without breaking. Ever.
There is also a collection of Cable (that is, strung on wire cable) Rosaries in the $40-70 range--
In short, I put my heart and love for Mary in every Rosary, no matter how humble--and I want to honor Mary with the best fruits of my work, whatever the price is. It is by God's Grace channeled through the Blessed Mother that I am able to put food on the table by doing what I love.

Rosary in Poppy Jasper, Sapphire, and bronze, version 2
This is the same Rosary as you see in my last listing, minus a Challenge Coin--
The Rosary uses Poppy Jasper, a dark reddish brown, for the Aves and big 13mm carved Sapphire (yes it is really Sapphire, obviously not gem quality but with beautiful color) for the Paters
The Crucifix is a St Joan of Arc Cross. She knew her calling in life and pursued it even to death.
For the center I used miraculous Medal, with all its graces.
Cable Rosaries are not unbreakable as are my wire wrapped ones--but they are sturdily made--connection points use wire guardians whenever possible to keep the wire from fraying and breaking, and each connection is double crimped. Treat it with respect and you will get years of prayer from it.
It is silky smooth and a pleasure to pray--
With its 8mm beads, this is a more substantial Rosary with a pleasant feel and heft in the hand.
Length approx 18"

Today I am focusing on a Navy Rosary for those who serve--and those who pray for them.

This is a Cafe-au-lait Mother of Pearl and Bronze Rosary for our Navy Soldiers and those who pray for them!
There is a Pardon Crucifix with all it's indulgences and graces, a Miraculous Medal center, and a Navy medal (United States Navy with an Eagle on the front,and, on the reverse, Archangel Michael.
I had not heard of Challenge medals before I came across them while searching for a medal. I think they started in the Armed Forces as tokens given when certain accomplishments were being recognized. They are handsome, and no detail was omitted in the design of these heavy and stunning coins.
The Rosary is strung upon heavy, 40# test strength, 49-strand cable wire coated in nylon for durability.
Genuine 12mm, high quality Bronzite Paters with bronze plated connectors give a warm feel to the Rosary.
